The Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) was founded in 1929 and is the national governing body for badminton in Singapore. SBA is a member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia Confederation. The association organises Singapore's top badminton tournaments including the Singapore Open (BWF World Tour Super 750), Singapore National Championships, and various sanctioned tournaments. SBA liaises with 33 member clubs to support club and league structures, and oversees the national training programme that has produced world-class players including Loh Kean Yew (2021 World Champion).
