The Jamaica Badminton Academy was founded by national badminton players who aim to grow the sport of badminton in Jamaica. Training is conducted by expert coaches who are also national players committed to the growth and development of badminton in Jamaica. The academy has 1,000+ members and has secured over $30 million in scholarships for its members. Rated as 'The Best Sporting Experience' for all ages including children (ages 4+), teenagers, and adults. The academy offers Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced training programmes. All equipment is provided free of cost. The academy also hosts the annual Shuttle Showdown tournament.
