The Iran Badminton Federation is the national governing body for badminton in Iran. Founded in 1972 (1351 Iranian calendar), it is headquartered in Tehran and operates under the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The federation is a member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia. It is responsible for national team selection, coaching development, organizing national championships, and promoting badminton across all 31 provinces of Iran.
