Discovery Sports Club is a multi-sport organization in Haskovo with an active badminton section. Chaired by Zhelyazko Valkov The club is affiliated with the Bulgarian Badminton Federation (Българска Федерация Бадминтон / БФБ), which was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Sofia. The federation organizes national team championships, individual state championships, and youth competitions across various age groups. Bulgaria has a proud badminton tradition with notable players including Petya Nedelcheva, Stefani and Gabriela Stoevi, and Diana Koleva.
