The national governing body for badminton in Fiji. Member of Badminton Oceania and the Badminton World Federation (BWF). Affiliated to FASANOC (Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee). Coordinates the BWF Shuttle Time programme across Fiji in partnership with the Fiji National Sports Commission, delivering grassroots badminton to schools and communities. Has delivered National Championships, Fiji Open (including Para badminton), and national school tournaments. Fiji has won multiple Pacific Games gold medals in badminton including Women's Singles (2003, 2007, 2011) and Mixed Team (2019). In 2022, delivered a Foundation coaching course to 12 new coaches. Also delivered a Shuttle Time Tutor course and Refresher in June 2022.
Fiji won gold in Women's Singles at three consecutive Pacific Games (2003, 2007, 2011) and Mixed Team gold at 2019 Pacific Games. Fiji has produced international players including Sristi Nadan (Oceania Championships representative) and Selina Seau (Para badminton, Oceania Para Badminton Championships 2020 debut). Over 17,771 kids introduced to Shuttle Time and AirBadminton since 2018. 12 new coaches trained in Foundation coaching course (2022).
